Security guard and patrol software that puts alarms, sites and patrols on one map.
Security patrol software for UK guarding companies, keyholding and alarm response teams, and small control rooms covering large areas. When an alarm comes in, the operator sees the site, the camera and the nearest patrol together, and the response leaves a record the client can read.
The alarm panel, the patrol log and the radio do not know about each other.
A typical control room runs several screens at once: the alarm feed from the ARC, a camera system, a phone with the patrol group chat, and a spreadsheet for the shift log. When a door contact opens at two in the morning, the operator works out who is closest from memory and a radio call.
The questions afterwards are always the same: who went and when did they get there, and what did they find? The client wants the answer in writing, and the operator has to reassemble it from the same four systems, if anyone wrote it down.
Patrols also spend part of every shift out of coverage, in basements, large warehouses or industrial sites at the edge of town, and a tool that needs signal loses whatever they report there.

What a control room gets from security patrol software
Sites as places, not addresses
Each site with its buildings, floors, rooms, access points and cameras. Import floor plans from PDFs and see a guard’s position by floor where the building supports it.
Alarms on the map
Alarm systems that can send a webhook or call an HTTP endpoint raise alerts in Sinkaos, with severity, owner, acknowledgement and escalation.
The nearest patrol
Live positions of guards and vehicles on duty, with ETA and a warning when someone leaves the planned route.
Patrol routes and geofences
Routes saved as records, and watch rules for entering, leaving or staying too long in an area, at the times you choose.
Cameras next to the incident
Fixed, PTZ and body-worn cameras with their field of view. Sinkaos suggests which cameras cover the spot that just alarmed.
Reports that work offline
Observations, photos and forms are saved on the phone and sent when a link appears, with the time they were made.
Client access
A client can be an observer of their own site’s operation and see its incidents and reports, and nothing from your other customers.
A record for disputes
Every incident keeps its timeline, photos and tasks. Replay any shift, and export it as CSV, GeoJSON or PDF.
The same alarm, handled two ways
| STEP | PHONE, RADIO AND SPREADSHEET | SINKAOS |
|---|---|---|
| Alarm arrives | On the alarm panel only | As an alert on the map, next to the site and camera |
| Who is closest | Asked over the radio | Visible from shared positions |
| Dispatch | Spoken, not recorded | A task with location, camera and acknowledgement |
| Finding on site | Written up at the end of shift | Logged on the spot with photos, even offline |
| Client report | Assembled by hand next morning | Exported from the incident timeline |
Where it fits
What it does not do
It does not track people who have not agreed to it
Sinkaos shows the location of enrolled team members, who always see that they are sharing. It is not built for covert tracking, and we will not help anyone use it that way.
It is not an alarm receiving centre
Your alarm panels, your ARC and its monitoring software stay. Sinkaos receives their events through webhooks or the API. Ask us about your specific system before you plan around it.
It does not replace radio, or your licensing
Radio is still the fastest way to call for backup, and lone worker procedures stay yours. SIA licensing, vetting and the standards your clients ask for are outside what software decides. Sinkaos keeps the positions, the photos and the written record.
From guarding companies
Can it take alarms from our existing system?
Do guards need a separate device?
Can a client see their own site?
What about employees’ privacy when we share positions?
Can we run it on our own servers?
