A team that met this morning has to work like one that has done this for years.

Festivals, races, city events. Stewards, security, medical teams and volunteers, from different companies, for one weekend.

THE PROBLEM

Half the team is temporary, the network is saturated, and the site changes every hour.

On event days the mobile network is shared with tens of thousands of visitors. Messaging apps lag, calls drop, and the site map printed last week is already wrong.

Most of the people on the ground are contractors or volunteers. Getting them onto a tool has to take minutes, and taking them off it again has to be automatic.

Day two at a riverside festival.

Guests only see what the organiser’s role settings allow. Decide those before the gates open.

A saturated network delays messages; Sinkaos queues them instead of losing them, but it cannot make the network faster.

QUESTIONS
Do volunteers need an account?
No. With guest access enabled they join from a link or QR code, for that operation only.
Can medical see security incidents?
If their role allows it. Many organisers give medical access to all incidents with severity High and above.
What happens to guest data after the event?
Guest access ends when the operation closes. The operation’s records follow your retention settings.
