What is Sinkaos, in one sentence?
A shared map and workspace where a team in the field records what is happening, who is where and what needs doing, and keeps working without a network.
Does it really work without signal?
Yes. Each phone carries a mission pack with the maps, the plan, its tasks and the team list. Reports, photos and messages are saved on the phone and sent when a link appears. What you can’t get offline is anything live from someone else: their new reports, camera feeds, sensor values.
Does it replace our radios?
No. Radio is still the fastest way to say “stop”. Sinkaos holds what radio can’t: positions, records, photos, and a timeline you can read later.
Which phones does it run on?
Android and iPhone, plus a web app for the operator and anyone at a desk.
Is it only for the day of the operation?
No. It also holds your persistent map of sites and buildings, equipment and vehicles, training and qualifications, and debriefs and lessons learned.
Can people from other organisations join?
Yes, as guests of one operation, by link or QR code. They see what their role allows and lose access when the operation closes.
DATA AND SECURITY
Where is our data stored?
On the hosted service, in EU data centres. On your own servers or a disconnected node, wherever you run it.
Is everything end-to-end encrypted?
Messages, photos and files are. Records like incidents, tasks and positions are encrypted in transit and at rest, and are readable by the server so it can sync them and raise alerts. The Security page lists exactly what the server sees.
What happens if a phone is lost?
Revoke it from another device or ask the operator to. It stops receiving anything new. What is already on it stays behind the screen lock and local encryption.
Is there AI in it?
Optional AI can summarise an incident or what changed while you were offline, and suggest records from text. A person confirms anything it proposes. Your organisation can turn it off or choose which model it uses, including one you host.
Does it work indoors?
Yes. Import floor plans, mark rooms, doors and stairs, and see positions by floor where your building supports it.
Do you track people?
Only members who join an operation and share their position, and they can see that they are sharing. Sinkaos is not built for tracking people who don’t know about it, and we won’t help anyone use it that way.
EARLY ACCESS
What does early access cost?
Nothing. We’ll talk about pricing well before anyone has to pay, and nobody is moved onto a paid plan without agreeing to it.
Who are you looking for?
Teams with a real exercise, event or shift coming up in the next few months, who are willing to tell us honestly what worked and what didn’t.
How long until we hear back?
Two working days, usually less.
Can we run it on our own servers from the start?
Tell us in the request. It depends on your environment, and we’ll say plainly if it’s a fit.
